Jennifer Lozano

I like fixing things that feel harder than they should be.

Whether it's a messy workflow, a confusing client process, a website that isn't doing its job, or a system that only makes sense to the person who built it, I enjoy figuring out what's not working and making it easier for everyone involved.

My background sits somewhere between client success, operations, and technical implementation. I care just as much about whether a system works as I do about whether the people using it actually understand it.

Open to implementation, customer success, client onboarding, CRM, digital systems, web operations, and technical project coordination opportunities.

About

A little about me

I've always been the person who notices when something is inefficient, confusing, or creating unnecessary work.

My background started in operations and client-facing roles, where I learned pretty quickly how much a good process matters. Over time, I started building the systems behind those processes, including CRM workflows, onboarding, websites, automations, internal tools, and client portals.

The part I enjoy most is being in the middle of the technical side and the human side. I like understanding what each person actually needs, translating that into a practical system, and making sure no one gets lost in the process.

I don't need everything to start out perfectly organized. Honestly, figuring out the messy part is usually what I enjoy most.

Projects

Things I've Built

Most of my favorite projects started with some version of: "There has to be a better way to do this."

Client Operations Portal screenshot

Client Operations Portal

GoHighLevel AI Studio + Supabase

Built a multi-client portal designed to manage onboarding, strategy, tasks, packages, and client access in one organized system.

Key functionality

  • Separate admin and client experiences
  • Email/password authentication
  • Role-based access
  • Row Level Security
  • Client isolation
  • Onboarding task tracking
  • Monthly and future strategy planning
  • Task libraries and templates
  • Package visibility
  • Client-visible vs private content
  • Activity logging
  • Administrative diagnostics
  • Multi-user access testing
Problem: Client information, onboarding, strategy planning, and account management needed to live in one organized place without exposing one client's data to another.
What I built: A secure, role-based portal that gives administrators control over client accounts while allowing each client to access only their own approved information.
What it demonstrates: System design, workflow planning, database-backed applications, authentication, permissions, QA testing, client experience, and troubleshooting.
Internal CRM & Estimating Platform screenshot

Internal CRM & Estimating Platform

GoHighLevel AI Studio + Supabase

Built an internal CRM and estimating system for a design-build remodeling company to organize customer, project, estimating, and operational workflows.

Key functionality

  • Customer records
  • Project records
  • Opportunity qualification
  • Property information
  • Project vision and scope
  • Rooms and systems
  • Exterior scope
  • Procedures
  • Risk
  • Estimates
  • Design
  • Permits
  • Value tracking
  • Reports
  • User authentication
  • Supabase database
  • Row Level Security
  • Multi-user testing
  • Data migration from local storage
Problem: Project information and estimating workflows needed a more structured system that separated customers from projects and supported multiple stages of the sales and project process.
What I built: A centralized internal application with structured customer and project records, workflow stages, secure access, and database-backed project information.
What it demonstrates: Business process mapping, CRM design, relational data thinking, workflow implementation, authentication, migration, testing, and operational problem-solving.
WordPress & Digital Systems Implementation screenshot

WordPress & Digital Systems Implementation

WordPress + Divi + Rank Math + GoHighLevel

Managed website migration, production updates, technical SEO, site structure, and digital conversion systems for a design-build remodeling company.

Key functionality

  • WordPress staging and production workflows
  • Divi 4 to Divi 5 migration
  • Theme Builder configuration
  • Page rebuilding
  • Breadcrumb implementation
  • Full-width content fixes
  • Technical troubleshooting
  • Rank Math Pro implementation
  • Service schema
  • Local SEO support
  • Internal linking
  • Metadata optimization
  • Site architecture
  • Conversion paths
  • Lead forms and funnels
  • Production site updates
Problem: The website needed a cleaner structure, stronger local SEO, better service-page architecture, and a safer workflow for making large site changes.
What I built: Managed the technical and content-side website improvements from staging through production while improving SEO structure and user conversion paths.
What it demonstrates: WordPress administration, technical SEO, staging workflows, troubleshooting, production management, web systems, and cross-functional implementation.
OT Study Bug screenshot

OT Study Bug

GoHighLevel AI Studio + Supabase

Built a mobile-friendly study platform specifically for occupational therapy students after identifying a major gap in dedicated study resources for the field. The app combines multiple study formats with persistent progress tracking so students can quickly see what they know, where they are struggling, and what to focus on next.

Key functionality

  • Supabase-backed user accounts and persistent progress tracking
  • User progress stored in the database instead of only in the local browser
  • Mobile-first UI/UX designed for studying on phones and smaller screens
  • Progress tracker that helps students quickly identify weak areas
  • Personalized review based on missed questions and performance
  • Quick quizzes for fast knowledge checks and recall practice
  • Matching activities to support a different style of learning
  • Memory-style study activities
  • Structured study card libraries
  • User-specific quiz attempts and missed-question tracking
  • Weak-area review
  • Progress saved across sessions
  • Multiple study formats so students are not limited to one type of review
Problem:

Occupational therapy students have far fewer study tools built specifically for their coursework than students in fields like nursing.

I kept seeing how scattered OT study resources were and how difficult it was to find one place to review topics like anatomy, neuroanatomy, peripheral nerves, assessments, and other OT-specific content.

I wanted to build something that was designed around the way OT students actually need to study.

What I built:

I built OT Study Bug as a study platform designed specifically for OT students.

The platform includes structured study libraries, quizzes, matching activities, memory-style activities, progress tracking, missed-question review, weak-area review, and user authentication.

The application is connected to Supabase so each user's progress and quiz data can persist across sessions instead of being stored only in the local browser.

What it demonstrates: Product thinking, identifying a real user need, user-focused application design, mobile UI/UX, authentication, Supabase integration, database-backed workflows, persistent user progress, personalized learning workflows, QA testing, and iterative feature development.
How I Work

How I Think Through a Problem

I'm usually asking three questions:

  • What's actually happening?
  • Where is it breaking down?
  • What would make this easier for the people using it?

From there, I map the workflow, build the system, test it from different user perspectives, and keep refining it until it makes sense in real life, not just on paper.

  1. 01

    Understand what's actually happening

Talk to the people involved and figure out what the real problem is.

  2. 02

    Map it out

Organize the workflow, responsibilities, information, and handoffs before building.

  3. 03

    Build

Configure the system, workflow, automation, website, or database structure needed.

  4. 04

    Try to break it

Test different scenarios, user roles, and edge cases instead of assuming it works.

  5. 05

    Refine

Use feedback and real-world use to make the system better.

My goal isn't just to make something work technically. I want the people using it to understand it, trust it, and actually find it helpful.

Achievements

A Few Things I'm Proud Of

My path into tech wasn't traditional, but I think that's actually one of my strengths. Before I started building digital systems, I spent years leading people, managing high-volume operations, solving problems in real time, and figuring out how to make processes work better. That experience still shapes how I approach technical projects today.

~$4.5M

Annual sales volume managed as a Starbucks Store Manager

28.5%

Year-over-year sales growth achieved while improving overall store operations

Direct leadership team members managed, including 9 shift supervisors and 1 assistant manager

1,200+

Experience

My career moved from leading people and high-volume operations, into client success and digital marketing, and then into building the CRM, websites, and systems behind those processes.

A little more about me

I'm naturally curious and usually have some kind of project going. If I run into a process that feels unnecessarily complicated, there's a good chance I'll start trying to figure out how to make it better.
